Our Founder

Honoring the life of Kathleen Anne Dundon. Affectionately known as “Sam” You see Sam was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Feb 22, 2018. It was on that morning our doctor spoke the words no one wants to hear. “You have Cancer Sam” As I stood there bewildered, fear washing over me. Sam’s eyes full of conviction met mine. She spoke these words “Gods Got it “

True to form. Sam’s first reaction was to acknowledge her Savior and protect my heart. This was the way Sam lived her life. Even in the midst of a battle to save her own life, her thoughts were for the welfare of others. A charitable humble heart guiding other home to a place prepared for us; “John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Sam was baptized on the racetrack in Indianapolis Indiana in 2009 after years of God calling her. Thanks to our NHRA family, we were surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. As written in Hebrews 12:1 She did not need to look back to find “Heroes of Faith” they were all around. For 9 years. Sam would write “letters from God” To many of the drivers, crew chiefs, pit crews, and vendors. She would spend countless hours writing letters by hand. She would tell me that writing them by hand was a gift of the heart, were her savior was held close.

For those that would seek her out, year after year at races across the country. To show her the pennies that she had given them with a crosscut out in the center. They were met with an infectious smileSam always had, no matter what trails were present in her life. A kind ear to bend and a prayer to share. When Sam was confronted with another’s suffering, her heart was compelled to relieve that suffering.

This is the foundation God’s Got You Is built on. When we share the blessings that God has given us Gods Got You.
